Not that much oil or butter...he burnt the butter and it singed the steak! You rub the steak will oil, then a PINCH of salt, too much salt will make the steak seize up and become tough! Then you rub a small dab of butter on each side while it’s cooking!

Cooking time and resting time are essentially considered cooking, since the meat is still cooking in the resting period. So it’s not Minute Steak it’s “21 minute Steak” or based on the video 5 min steak...

Top Sirloin really is the most underrated cut. Maybe the tri tip but that's more for roasting/smoking. It is literally the same muscle as the striploin but where it turns into the butt of the cow(not to be confused with pork butt which is actually the shoulder). Because of the way we break down sides of beef it gets called something else but it's still the same muscle and equally delicious. It is one end of the 'long loin' which gets separated from the 'shortloin' or t-bone/ porterhouse to become the 'sirloin'. If you can get it with the cap still on even better. Often the cap get's taken off and sliced separately at grocery stores. The top sirloin cap is the 'picana' and also one of the most underrated cuts. Try to get a whole one ...omg. Some supermarkets will steak off the cap so if you want an amazing discount steak that's better than a striploin get a sirloin cap steak. Source: went to butchery school in Alberta and was a butcher for five years.

if anyone of you here would be chefs like i am, would know that this guy in the video has no idea about cooking or food. the stake is too cooked also. and wait 20 minutes for what? the stake to be cold? it's not even hard to put butter in the pan, throw a stake in it, flip it and it's done.
