Please read "Democracy in Chains" , Nancy MacClean - here is how we got here and how all the dots were connected and how they control ALL sectors of our nations sensibilities and purse strings. Yes they create a "Group" (Americans for Prosperity, CATO -- on and on) to spew fake reports and collect PAC funds.... we are Koched!

Stop making excuses and get informed by actually reading the science. the 97% is a complete lie, it's based on a study by Cook et al, which showed that 97% of scientists believe the earth is warming not that it's caused by Co2 or even man, but you actually have to read the who study and not just headlines. For your convenience here is 2 article that describes the problems with the 97%. www.forbes.com/sites/alexepstein/2015/01/06/97-of-climate-scientists-agree-is-100-wrong/#249a203a3f9f www.econlib.org/archives/2014/03/16_not_97_agree.html There are literally hundreds of scientific articles that cast doubt on climate change if you want I can start sending them to you. Over 31 years ago President George Bush acknowledged climate change. He and his son were possibly the last Republicans who had at least some ethical and moral anchors and who listened to scientists. But in the following 30 years, greed and profit removed any common sense from these republican idiots. The gruesome truth is, that the one percent who owns 99% of the wealth, don't care whether the poorer part of the populations will live in horrendous conditions or suffer from climate change. They will just hide behind the walls of their gated communities and enjoy that the problem of overpopulation is taken care of by more and more violent climate conditions, draughts, floods, poisoned soil and groundwater and the mass exodus of animals.

Boycott Koch Industries consumer products: Georgia-Pacific is a pulp and paper company that produces paper, tissue, toilet paper, and building products and includes the well-known brands Quilted Northern tissue, Brawny paper towels, and Dixie cups. Invista, which owns brands such as Lycra, Tactel, and Thermolite, as well as brands for outdoor gear, carpet (Stainmaster), and luggage. Its Cordura fabrics are common in backpacks and outerwear from top gear companies, including Patagonia, Outdoor Research, Topo Designs, North Face, Mammut, and Mountain Hardwear. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Koch Industies is literally in every aspect of energy production and distribution, chemicals and fertilizer and the core materials. By consuming less energy, and buying less new stuff, you can make a difference!

It isn't just two guys who have killed climate-change mitigation thus far, it's two billionaires representing one of the most powerful industries ever. Not that we shouldn't still make an example out of them, but we also need to remember who's behind them when we do so.

Sure the Koch brothers paid for it. Just remember that "journalist" in the media were the ones giving 1 climate change denying scientist equal time and weight than hundreds of thousands of real scientist that support climate change. It wasn't just one person or republicans. You have to put the media and complicit democrats.

Why can't these industries redirect all the money into less poisonous emissions than spending it on fighting it. Money is being spent. Why not spend it on good. I just don't get human logic. Pouring millions to change minds and not into saving the world. I just don't understand.

In June, 1979, President Jimmy Carter proposed a "new solar strategy" to "move our Nation toward true energy security and abundant, readily available energy supplies." In an effort to set an example for the country, Carter had solar panels installed on the roof of the White House West Wing. President Reagan took the solar panels off the WH roof because he did not support the solar energy industry. At the time Reagan said, “That’s enough of that!” when he ordered their removal. The act was symbolic. Between 1981 and 1986, the Reagan administration cut funding for renewable energy research and public renewable energy tax credits by 90%. His election campaign was strongly backed by the US oil and energy industry.
