When the CCP virus spread like wildfire in late January 2020, the city of Wuhan was suddenly locked down without any warning. Everyone was anxious and worried. As it happened to be around the Chinese New Yearholiday, people could only make phone calls to extend their New Years greetings instead of visiting each other. My Nephew's Wife My nephew's wife contracted the virus and was quarantined at home. My nephew was concerned and upset. I told him not to worry. I reminded him that reciting the auspicious phrases “Falun Dafa is good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” will bring hope if he and his wife could say it sincerely. I called him again the next day. He sounded much calmer and told me that his wife was improving. Several days later, she was completely recovered. My Cousin My aunt is in her 80s. She called me to say that her younger son had come down with the “Wuhan pneumonia” but that he refused to say the auspicious phrases mentioned above. My aunt and her son had heard me talk about Falun Dafa many times in the past and had already withdrawn from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its related organizations. I told my aunt to calm down and then called my cousin. When I called him the first time, he did not pick up the phone, so I called his brother and asked him to pass on my words to him. My other cousin repeated the phrases loudly on the phone and said he would call his brother right away. When I called my virus-stricken cousin the second time, he answered and told me that he did what his brother had relayed to him. He said he felt much better already. He continued saying the phrases, and days later, his fever was gone and he was back to his normal healthy self. My Aunt and Uncle Shortly after my cousin recovered, his father also contracted the virus and got very sick. His condition worsened very quickly. Before I got a chance to talk to him, he had already passed away. After my uncle’s passing, the village officials wanted to place my aunt in quarantine in a centralized location, but she refused. In the end, they agreed to let her self-quarantine at home. My aunt has been saying the two phrases daily. She never had any symptoms. The village officials later got her tested at a hospital, and her result was negative. They were surprised that she didn't catch the virus when her son and late husband were both infected.

It's a show centered around comedians that's still running, and as you can see in the clip, it's very good. More deserving of trending than the usual nonsense.

This is the most important post you will ever read. Every one of us has sinned against God. We’ve lied, we’ve stolen, we’ve sinned sexually, and we’ve taken His name in vain; which makes us liars, thieves, fornicators and blasphemers.. Yet this is only four of our many transgressions. The problem is, we can never ‘outweigh’ our sin with good deeds because God is perfect in Holiness, meaning his standard is beyond our reach. He is also perfect in Justice, meaning, he will bring EVERY sin to light. The punishment for our sin is death, and Hell; a place of Eternal Fire, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Fortunately God is also perfect in Love, so 2000 years ago, Jesus Christ left his throne in heaven and came to this earth. While here, he lived a perfectly righteous life, only to take the punishment that We deserved; Our sinless creator became Our sin, and endured a gruesome death on a cross for our sake. Right before he died, he said ‘it is finished’.. meaning, the debt for our sins has been paid in full. And on the third day, he defeated death and rose from the grave. So now, we can go free from the wrath of God’s judgement not by earning it, but rather, as a free gift of grace.. Except gifts can either be accepted or rejected. So this is what you must do in response; Humbly admit to God that you have sinned against him, and through gratitude in the sacrifice of his son, repent (turn away) from your old way of life. Then, confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, your savior, and the ruler of your life from this moment forward (Romans 10:9). Do these things, and you will be saved. If you do so sincerely, God will grant you a new heart which no longer finds comfort in sin. He will also grant you Eternal life in his presence; The greatest pleasure on earth doesn’t even come close to what God is preparing for believers in the afterlife. You’ve been informed; Now the choice is yours. What you do with this information will determine where you spend ETERNITY, meaning, this is the single most critical decision you will EVER make; And all of us here, whether believer or atheist, know deep down that every last word here is true. Jesus Christ awaits YOU this very moment. Don’t even think about sleeping tonight until you surrender your life to him, because your tomorrow isn’t guaranteed.. And as it is written (Hebrews 9 : 27); ‘It is appointed unto man ONCE to die, but after this, THE JUDGMENT’. All glory, honor and praise to Lord Jesus Christ.

That's straight bullshit. You know the saying that you can't give someone an inch? They didn't give this guy a centimeter! The mentality of 'I didn't win so neither should this guy' is absolute trash and I know that's why these two goons didn't vote for him.

IDK I need to see another angle. Rules said "touch" they didn't say anything about part of a person extending beyond the red perimeter which would happen if someone leans their arm over to get an easier toss without actually touching the red. The part of the shoe which looks to be touching could have just barely been the part of the shoe which angles upward, meaning it broke the perimeter but may not have actually made contact.
Task master is a game where bending the rules is normally encouraged but there is a limit to pedantry. The whole point is all the rules are on the task sheet so they're not going to include every fine detail. Remember this ultimately a comedy show, not a game show
But the thing is if we went by stupid rules like that the tasks would be pages long stating that yes clothing does count, yes water does count, yes that does technically count. Clothing counts as part of you
I like how this video had the whole clip of the task and Joe's downfall. The ones of the Taskmaster channel edit out the studio bits, which to me is the best bits of this. the voting and then doc's "that's harsh" at the end

@Ace Dog11 I think Alex said in a recent podcast episode that no one actually takes those prizes. Which makes sense since a lot people bring in their personal possessions
British panel/game shows usually don't have any prize, atleast not of any value. Most of them are just comedians/celebs having fun and making lite comedy
Simply put, 5 contesters play in each series and each episode they must perform a number of creative tasks, then they get rated by the Taskmaster (Greg Davies) for points. There is a lot more going on but that is the base of it. For example at the start of each episode there is a theme like "Cutest item in your house" and you gotta bring have to bring that item in for points, then the cutest item gets 5 points and so on, at the end of the episode the winner wins all the items that were offered for the "Cutest item in your house" contest
@Anon Amarth There are quite a lot of tasks where they just ask Alex to do something for them. Sometimes he helps, sometimes he says no. It kinda depends on how fun it would be for tv.

How do I get to heaven? Will my good deeds be measured against my bad deeds? Do I need to be a good person to go to heaven? How do I know if I'm good enough? Well the bible says no man is good, for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. So how do we get to heaven? Answer: By believing on Jesus Christ who took the punishment for our sin on the cross. There are no amount of good works we can do to achieve salvation because salvation is a free gift of God. We need to humble ourselves, realize we are sinners and that we need a savior.
